ORIGIN / GENESIS

MAHILA VIKASH started in 1993 by a group of students at their secondary level, inspired by scout movements to do some Constructive works towards rural reconstruction in and around their own village like cleaning of wells renovation of ponds creating awareness about hygiene and health and encouraging women to participate in development process of course. This inspired group was performing these activities during their holiday and school off hour’s.

In course of time the same spirit continued to sparkle and Mahila Vikash formalised (registered)in (1992) to initiate developments interventions in more Planned organised and systematic way. It strives for improved Socio-Economic and Politico cultural status of community and to Facilitate the capacity building and empowerment of unprivileged towards self-sustenance.
